Nose:

Honeycomb cereal dominated by oak with some vanilla, Teddy grahams, graham crackers, nutmeg, dark brown sugar, clove

Palate: 

Definitely drinks at its proof point! The palate is very different than what you would expect from the nose. It is oak forward, dark, rich, pops on your palate, not very sweet, syrupy, dried cranberries, torched sugar, espresso, and a creamy mouthfeel

Finish:

Fruit reveals itself alongside oak, leather, and an overall drying aspect

Final Thoughts:

This whiskey is very complex, and had me identifying new notes each time I took a sip. Given this price point, I enjoy that this made me think, revisit, and unpack the complexity it provided. Whether or not you are willing to pay this much for a bottle is up to you!
