Final Thoughts:

As you might expect from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, this Sazerac 18 was delicious! This was my first time trying the Sazerac 18, so I don’t have any other releases to compare it to, but this one had wonderful creamy notes from the nose to the finish even at a lower proof. The palate was bursting with raspberry and cloves, which worked beautifully together to provide a full-body whiskey. I was extremely impressed with this rye, and can see why there is so much hype surrounding this and the rest of the BTAC lineup. I don’t even have to say it… you already know… buy it if you see it at retail!
