Final Thoughts:

As someone who generally reaches for the highest proof whiskey in a lineup, I found myself gravitating towards the Straight Bourbon at only 97 proof. While it was only three proof points lower than the Blend of Straight Bourbons, it brought a wonderful aroma and palate filled with strawberry, whipped cream, and a distinct cola note. The Straight Bourbon was a bit too grain-forward for my preference, and the Rye was an apple bomb (in a good way). Coppercraft has a solid lineup of whiskies in their portfolio, and I would love to see what some of these taste like at a higher proof!
