Oma Gesha - Anaerobic Honey:

Chocolate covered pecans and honey smacks cereal on the nose followed by papaya, kiwi, and charred marshmallow on the palate.

Cranberry and pomegranate on the nose followed by cinnamon raisin bread and lemon zest on the palate.

Surma Gesha - Honey:

Honey and pecan pie on the nose followed by guava, bubble gum, cantaloupe, and fresh peaches on the palate.

Final Thoughts:

As with all Gesha coffees from Ethiopia, there is a more intense sweetness than what you might find from other varieties. Combining that with the naturally processed beans creates a sweet and fruit forward cup of coffee that is the perfect start to the day. If you are like me and enjoy a coffee that brings a punch of sweet but tart fruit in every sip, then these are a must try.
